Price shown is for unframed print.
Feibusch left medical school to study art at Akademie der Kunst, Berlin, and then moved on to Paris and Rome (1919-25). He returned to Frankfurt and worked as a painter and muralist, becoming a refugee in London with the rise of the National Socialists in 1933. Between 1938 and 1970 he painted some forty murals for cathedrals and churches throughout England and wrote a book on the subject, Mural Painting (1946). Given his focus on religious and mythical subjects his choice of monkeys for his School Print is rather odd, although it is possibly one of the strongest images in the series.
