Being almost the last true wild species of horse left in the world, with the downfall of this Polish named horse happening when German merchants captured pretty much the whole population to sell to zoos. In 1945 there were just 31 individuals remaining in two zoos, Munich and Prague, but thanks to the reintroduction programme today more than 1500 exist, with every one of them descendants of the 31 that were left in 1945.

The Critical Critters Suite is a collection of 24 signed, limited edition, de-bossed prints dedicated to critically endangered animals, insects, fish and birds.

Paper size - 56 x 69 cm.
