Iain Ballamy and Huw Warren have been at the forefront of the UK jazz scene since the late 1980s. Their duo performances are characterised by a near telepathic sense of interaction and a shared love of melodic and harmonic beauty. They have both won the BBC Jazz Award for Innovation and their work transcends stereotypes of genre and style.
Huw Warren and Iain Ballamy,

Great music from great musicians in the most intimate of spaces is what the Goldmark Front Room is all about. World class musicians, more used to playing concert halls than our tiny 60 seat auditorium, are coming to the gallery in Uppingham.
We have been privileged to witness some magical performances from the likes of Richard Thompson, June Tabor, Sam Lee, This Is The Kit, Martin Simpson and many more.
There will be the occasional short notice big name gig. Make sure you're on our mailing list.

The next performance in the Goldmark Front Room is on Sunday 13th April 2025 and will feature Huw Warren on piano and Iain Ballamy on saxophone. Doors at 7.00pm, performance at 7.30pm. 60 seats only!
