    Richard James was born in 1963 in Northampton. He has works in private collections all over the UK and US. Much of his work makes strong use of astronomical association: an attempt to recognise the greater mystery inherent in the commonplace remnants of exhausted life. He strives to offer glimpses of the unknown, to uncover fragments of hidden mystery and explore the subliminal landscape concealed by the everyday.

    The excavation of an early settlement site on the first disc of the earth. Above are three levels of Heaven: The disc of the Moon, The disc of the Morning and Evening Stars and the Primum Mobile, the abode of angels.

    Their exhibitions are always prepared with great care, with videos and catalogs accompanying the shows. I have not been able to visit the gallery in person but all the Goldmark team is splendid and highly professional, which makes the virtual shopping a great experience.
