Antediluvian Model.

The antediluvian period begins with the Fall of Man and ends with the destruction of all life on Earth during the Great Flood. An era of no rain when the Earth was watered and shrouded by a vast vapor canopy. Strange giants and leviathans in the promised land.
It was an “ungarnished and desolated world which echoed the flapping of [pterodactyl] leathern wings” was lit by “the angry light of supernatural fire”, shining on a “sunless and moonless” world, before the creation of these heavenly “lights”.
from Thomas Hawkins, Memoirs of Ichthyosauri and Plesiosauri, 1834.

Richard James PortraitRichard James was born in 1963 in Northampton. He has works in private collections all over the UK and US. Much of his work makes strong use of astronomical association: an attempt to recognise the greater mystery inherent in the commonplace fragments of exhausted life. He strives to offer glimpses of the unknown, to uncover fragments of hidden mystery and explore the subliminal landscape concealed by the everyday.
We deliver art everyday, safely and securely, worldwide and for free in the UK.

Unless specified, your art will come framed, ready for the wall, at no extra cost.
