Join us for a pop-up exhibition of prints by master British printmaker Henry Moore.
Henry Moore OM CH FBA (1898-1986) was probably the most famous British sculptor of the 20th century. However he began drawing as a child and it was Moore’s war drawings that originally brought him to the attention of the wider British public.
Mother and Child Studies and Reclining Figure
Moore started printmaking in 1931, and in 1958 met the master lithographer Stanley Jones at the Curwen Press with whom he continued to make prints until the end of his life in 1986.
