Glyn Hughes, winner of the Guardian Fiction Prize and the David Higham Prize, short listed for The Whitbread Novel of the Year, the subject of a BBC2 profile and the author of several well-received plays and documentaries for BBC Radio.
He won national prizes and awards for his poetry collections. His first book, Neighbours, was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and won the Welsh Arts Council Poet’s Prize. Hughes died in 2011.
