Banna’s Lonely Shore (from Nan Connors) by Sam Lee

Sam Lee is a Mercury Prize nominated folk singer, conservationist, song collector, award winning promoter, broadcaster and activist.

This is a song recorded in 2021 when Sam and friends paid their second visit to the Goldmark Front Room.

This was the first time that Sam Lee had sung the traditional ballad, Banna’s Lonely Shore which he learnt from the great Nan Connors, in public.
